Hello,

I am a 35 year old single mother living in the Netherlands. I have two children, a 12 year old daughter, and a 10 year old son.

My youngest son is hyperactive with Conduct disorder, and quite a handfull. He needs special care and constant guidance. Because of this he is in a special school.

The father of my children has gone off to start a new life. This makes it only harder for my son, because he feels rejected by his own father. Although i do my best, i can not fill up this void.

My daughter is a "normal" teenager. She is getting more problems with our lack of money in school. As most of her friends she is getting interested in fashion, and she is getting teased a lot because we can not buy the "cool cloths". Thank God she is an intelligent child, and she understands that "cool cloths" is not the most important thing  in life. As a mother it still hurts when your child gets teased for something like this.
